TENSPORTSZONE – The United States government will provide assistance of US $ 100 million to Ukraine. According to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, the military aid was disbursed after the tragedy of the killings in the Ukrainian city of Bucha was revealed.

According to Blinken, the assistance was provided to meet a “very urgent need” for anti-weapons systems. In a statement, Blinken said this assistance was to add equipment such as weapons and other military equipment needs in Ukraine. Since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, this US aid is the sixth with a total of US$1.7 billion.
Blinken added that he was deeply shocked by the killings in Bucha. He promised that the United States and its allies would jointly ensure accountability by documenting reported violations and bringing them to the international human rights council.
The Associated Press news agency, citing a US government official, said the additional assistance was for the delivery of Javelin anti-shirt missiles.

The United States reacted strongly to the massacre in Bucha. The US has asked the UN General Assembly to suspend Russia’s membership of the Human Rights Council.

According to Thomas-Greenfield, Russia’s participation in the Human Rights Council was a joke after the Bucha massacre. “And it’s wrong, which is why we believe it’s time the UN General Assembly voted to abolish it.” he said speaking in Bucharest, as reported by Reuters.
Russia has denied its forces were responsible for the civilian deaths in the city of Bucha and said Ukraine had put on a show for Western media.
